Rik van Drie

Rik van Drie is an Innovation Engineer at Holland Sensor, known for his out-of-the-box problem-solving and strong system design skills. He combines knowledge from multiple disciplines to tackle complex challenges and turn ideas into practical, working solutions.

Rik has a background in product development where electronics and mechanics come together. During his time at Reset National, he spent nearly a decade developing high-tech security systems, gaining deep hands-on experience in designing, building, and refining complex products. Alongside this, he has been active as an entrepreneur through his own ventures, including Qwaderno BV and Drietec.

At Holland Sensor, Rik plays a key role in solving complex technical issues and in the design and construction of the MIZU stationary setup. His ability to adapt quickly to new materials, technologies, and requirements makes him a valuable bridge between concept, engineering, and real-world deployment.

His work reflects a practical, inventive mindset — focused on building robust solutions that work reliably in the field.
