Sharmila Rumesh is an analytical chemist with a strong background in trace metal analysis and environmental samples. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and has gained hands-on laboratory experience in heavy metals analysis using advanced instrumentation such as ICP-MS.
At Holland Sensor, Sharmila supports laboratory activities related to trace metal measurements and sample preparation. Her experience includes working with complex matrices such as soil, wastewater, and gas absorption samples, where accuracy and careful preparation are essential for reliable results.
With a strong focus on data integrity and quality control, she works systematically with laboratory information systems (LIMS) and standardized procedures to ensure high-quality analytical results. Her analytical mindset and laboratory expertise contribute to the continued development and validation of sensing technologies for metal detection in water.
