About Conrad
Conrad Chapman is a senior sensor specialist with a deep scientific drive to better understand and protect water environments. With a background in environmental science and electrochemistry, he combines rigorous research with practical engineering to deliver reliable, real-world sensing solutions.
Conrad holds both a BSc and MSc in Water Science from the University of Wales Bangor and a PhD in Electrochemistry from the University of Liverpool. His career spans academic research and applied innovation, from postdoctoral work in ocean geochemistry and sensor design to deploying pollution sensors in river systems across Europe.
Before joining Holland Sensor, Conrad played key roles in sensor and platform development at PalmSens and Holland Water, where he led R&D efforts on advanced water sensors and cloud-based data platforms. Since 2023, he brings this experience together at Holland Sensor, working closely with dedicated teams to turn complex science into robust, scalable technology.
