Holland Sensor originated in 2007 as a deep-technology initiative focused on unlocking the potential of Boron-Doped Diamond (BDD) sensing for water applications. What began as advanced electrochemical research evolved into a mission to enable reliable, real-time metal monitoring in complex industrial water environments.

In 2023, Holland Sensor was formally established as an independent instrumentation company under the leadership of Leo de Zeeuw. Since then, the company has transitioned from prototype development to building a scalable sensing platform. Combining patented BDD technology with dedicated electronics, control systems and cloud architecture.

Today, Holland Sensor develops structured product lines built on this shared platform, enabling application-specific metal monitoring with laboratory-grade performance at low ppb levels.
