Jaap is the upcoming CEO of Holland Sensor (as of June 1st onwards), where he will lead the company’s vision, strategy, and integrated roadmap as Holland Sensor will scale its technology and market presence.
Jaap is currently a Senior Partner & Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group, where he e.g. globally led BCG’s Agile & Platform Operating Model topic. With extensive experience in platform businesses, technology–commerce integration, and complex transformations, Jaap has advised leadership teams of leading international organizations on scaling innovation and driving sustainable performance.
In addition to his work at BCG, Jaap is an angel investor in and external advisor to several start- and scale-ups, supporting founders in strategy, governance, and organizational effectiveness.
At Holland Sensor, Jaap will be responsible for strategic direction, operational excellence, leadership development, and accelerating the company’s growth trajectory.
Jaap holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, with majors in Finance and Marketing.
